With over 30 years of knowledge of the area and experience here, I’m proud to be the sponsor of “The Faces of Destin” and welcome everyone to our beautiful community! Many of my friends kiddingly call me “The Major of Destin”, which always makes me smile. It was during my first year in Atlanta in 1987, that I first came to the Emerald Coast of Florida and was completely blown away. I’m not sure how long I stood there with my jaw dropped and frozen in time, but I was sure I had never seen such a beautiful beach anywhere. I was hooked! It took me 17 years to get here, but I finally made it almost 16 year ago…. which was the best decision in my life.
